Paris City Council Authorizes Downtown Cameras

The Paris City Council has authorized Police Chief Bob Hundley to advertise for bids for downtown security cameras. The project will start with a 6 camera system estimated to cost about $50,000. Officials are planning on grants and using the forfeiture fund to pay for the cameras and associated equipment.
