Paris City Council Votes Down PRMC Tax Abatement

The Paris City Council has voted 5-2 to terminate the $27.2 million tax abatement agreement with Paris Regional Medical Center. Councilwomen Renae Stone and Paula Portugal voted against the measure. The action was taken because the hospital closed its south campus in June.
