Paris City Manager Resigns

Paris City Manager John Godwin, who was suspended last week by the city council, resigned at last night’s specially called meeting of the council. Although Godwin had asked for a public hearing on his suspension, no hearing was held. No reason was given for Godwin’s suspension or resignation. City Finance Director Gene Anderson has been named Acting City Manager.
