The Martin Memorial United Methodist Church in Detroit will hold its’ annual Harvest Festival on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. There will be a silent auction of quilts, a bake sale, and Christmas gifts and crafts. A barbeque lunch will start at 11 a.m. Tickets for adults will be $10; and for children 12 and under, $5.
Sunday night November 20th 7 pm at Love Civic Center in Paris Texas The Oak Ridge Boys will have a full production Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Show and also sing hits from their many gold records and over 43 million record sales. This will also be honoring our local raised Oak Ridge Boy, lead singer and President of the Oak Ridge Boys Inc. Duane Allen who will be celebrating his 50th year with the Oak Ridge Boys. This is a charity concert benefiting the Paris Boy’s and Girl’s Club. Only about 82 tickets left for this event and tickets are available on line at www.outhousetickets.com tickets are $50 plus the service charge with the ticket company.
“I Love Paris” Banquet Thursday November 3rd 6pm at the Love Civic Center. Paris Education Foundation will present Liz Murray as the Guest Speaker for the evening. Liz has an incredible story “Homeless to Harvard” Come hear her inspiring story and help P.E.F. help the lives of Paris High School students who are suffering with poverty and may not have an opportunity to a university or college without financial help. Chisum 13u TNT Volleyball Team will be having a MULTI Family yard sale on Saturday, November 5th beginning at 7am in front of the Chisum Administration Building. ALL proceeds will go towards tournament, equipment, and uniform fees.
There will be a fire recovery fund raiser Big Benefit Bash Sunday November 6th at the Eagles Lodge 1125 NE Loop 286 from 3-8pm.
