The Paris Economic Development Corporation will meet this afternoon at 4 p.m. at the PEDC Board Room at 1125 Bonham St. Members will discuss a resolution in support of expanding Hwy 271. TxDOT plans $310 million in improvements to be completed by 2025, but the Northeast Texas Regional Mobility Authority would like to see the project prioritized and speeded up. THe PEDC board will also discuss personnel matters in closed executive session.
