The Paris Economic Development Corporation will meet this afternoon at 4 in the City Council chambers. Members will consider going out for bids for the construction of a building on 28 acres where the old Oliver Rubber facility was located on Loop 286. Other agenda items include possibly hiring a company to assist in attracting new industry to Paris. The board will also go behind closed doors to discuss economic development negotiations and possible financial or other incentives for a local business.
