Paris High Senior Dies in Accidental Shooting

A Paris High School senior died Saturday of an apparent accidental gunshot wound. Paris police say 18 year old Raven Dowd was shot in the chest at an apartment in the 200 block of Stone Street. She was transported to the emergency room of Paris Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Paris police are investigating. A candlelight vigil will be held Thursday night outside the high school.
