Paris ISD Board Attorney On Revised Dress Code

There are over a thousand school districts in Texas, but only one found a way around the governor’s no-mask mandate. Paris ISD added masks to the dress code. Attorney Dennis Eichelbuam represents the Paris School Board and says the governor never amended the Texas Education Code, so the move was legal. The board will review the dress code monthly to determine if masks will be kept in place.
