Recently, students from Paris ISD who are part of the Paris FFA Chapter visited elementary campuses to share their experiences and encourage younger students to join the organization. The Paris High School and Paris Junior High students brought their goats and lambs to demonstrate some of the activities in which FFA members participated. They engaged with second to sixth-grade students, explaining the benefits and opportunities of being a member of the FFA.
They invited the elementary students to the Second Annual Open Barn event this Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This event will provide an opportunity for them to see more animals up close and ask any further questions they may have about becoming members of the FFA. This initiative aims to inspire interest and involvement in agricultural education from a young age, fostering a sense of community and hands-on learning among students.
