Paris Makes Changes To Building, Fire, Plumbing, Electrical Codes

The Paris News reports that the Paris City Council has made some changes to the international building, fire, plumbing, and electrical codes due to citizens’ suggestions at a Chamber of Commerce forum. Buildings larger than 6,000 square feet will no longer require a sprinkler system. The city will create a Board of Appeals for contractors. There will no longer be a requirement for a notary to certify a termite treatment performance at residences.
