Paris Man Arrested After Flee Atempt

Paris police attempted to make contact with a man in the 500 block of E Price after seeing him operating a dirtbike in the street. The subject attempted to evade officers by accelerating and failing to stop. 17 year old Matthew Gilbert was later stopped near the intersection of 10th NE and E Price and taken into custody for evading arrest with a vehicle and two misdemeanors.
