Paris Man Arrested After Wild Traffic Stop

Paris Police pulled a vehicle over for driving without headlights and an argument ensued with the driver. He fled the scene when told he was under arrest. An off-duty officer was aware of the pursuit and blocked the vehicle as it stopped and assisting units arrived on the scene. As officers ordered the suspect again to get out of his car the suspect fought them and attempted to flee striking the officer’s personal vehicle. He drove into a citizen’s car, hit a utility pole, and a police unit in the in the 100-block of Collegiate. They arrested 35-year-old Zill Sanders, of Paris, on multiple charges.
