Paris Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault

Paris police responded to a disturbance call in the 3400 block of Reno Drive and were told that a man had pointed a gun at a woman’s face.  39-year-old Jym Jones was then arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and transported to the Lamar County jail. Since he had a prior felony conviction, he was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. There were no serious injuries in the incident.
