Paris Man Arrested for Gun Charge and Evading

18 year old Jaelon Jawan Lyons was arrested by Paris police in the 1700 block of East Booth. Officers had been looking for two people that had evaded arrest on foot and saw one of the suspects get into a car Lyons was driving. Lyons was charged on outstanding traffic warrants and subsequent investigation turned up a stolen pistol in the trunk of his vehicle and Lyons was also charged with theft of a firearm.
