Paris Man Convicted Of Continuous Sexual Abuse

A Lamar County jury has convicted 49-year-old Richard Dee Perry of Paris in absentia of family violence assault with at least one prior conviction. He had been present at jury selection on Wednesday and failed to appear at his trial. They have not arrested him. The jury that convicted Perry recommended he get 55 years in prison because of his criminal history. District Judge Wes Tidwell will sentence him when authorities find him.
