Paris Man Killed In Accident Involving Trash Truck Identified

The RPM staffer assigned to the Paris Public Works department killed earlier this week in an accident involving a trash truck has been identified in a statement issued by City Manager Grayson Path. Ashton Smallwood, 18 years old, died of injuries he received in the accident that occurred in the 1900-block of Jackson Street. Law enforcement continues investigating the accident.
