Paris PD Cracking Down On Underage Sale Of Alcoholic Beverages To Minors

Paris police are increasing efforts targeting underage sale of alcoholic beverages to minors. Officers will send underage people into stores, and in the presence of a plain clothes officers, will have the youngster attempt to purchase alcohol.  The sales could take place at any time. Merchants and sales clerks that sell to minors face serious consequences.  Paris police have had a similar successful program dealing with the sales of tobacco products to minors.
