Paris PD Investigates Shooting

Paris police responded to a report that shots had been fired in the 600 block of Bonham and were told that a known suspect had attempted to pick, a fight with another man. The victim said when he would not fight, the other man fired a single shot toward him from a handgun which struck the front portion of  a vehicle with three children in the back seat. They were not injured. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and the investigation is ongoing.
