Paris PD Warns Of Bail Bond Scam

Paris PD Lieutenant John Berry is warning people released from jail after posting a bond of a new scam. A phone scammer is calling people and telling them they must pay additional money or they will be returned to jail. The caller usually asks for credit card or other personal information and may appear to be calling from the bond company’s phone number. If you get called, call your bondsman to be sure, then call the police.
