Paris Police Arrest Man After Short Pursuit

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for running a stop sign near the 2300-block of Bonham St. The driver refused to stop and was pursued briefly until he pulled into a driveway of a residence in the area. During the subsequent investigation, William York was found in possession of a large amount of money as well as a controlled substance and paraphernalia used to measure and use the illegal substance. He was charged with Delivery of Controlled Substance in a Drug-Free Zone, and traffic offenses.
