Golightly

On 06-16-2018 at 11:16 A.M. Officers responded to the 3900-block of Bonham in regards to a welfare concern. Officers made contact with Heston Golightly, 19, who was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Lamar County for possession of a controlled substance. Golightly was placed under arrest for the warrant.

On 06-15-2018 at 9:56 A.M. Officers met with a complainant in the police department lobby in regards to a fraud complaint. It was reported that an unknown suspect had used the complainant’s debit/credit card information to conduct an unauthorized transaction. The location of the transaction was not available at the time of the report. The investigation is ongoing.

On 06-15-2018 at 2:06 P.M. A report was made with the Paris Police Department in which an allegation was made that a child under the age of 17 had been physically abused by a known suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

On 06-16-2018 at 3:08 A.M. A report was made with the Paris Police Department in which an allegation was made that an unknown suspect had sexually assaulted the complainant in the 2000-block of Lamar Ave. The investigation is ongoing.

On 06-16-2018 at 12:40 P.M. Officers responded to a man with a gun complaint in the 300-block of E Grove Street. It was reported that a known suspect had pointed a firearm at the complainant. The investigation is ongoing.

On 06-17-2018 at 2:45 A.M. Officers responded to the 800-block of Deshong Drive in regards to a theft complaint. It was reported that an unknown male subject had taken a wheelchair from that location. The investigation is ongoing.

On 06-17-2018 at 8:05 A.M. Officers responded to a burglary in the 1100-block of Lamar Ave. It was reported that an unknown suspect forced entry into the building and then took several bottles of alcoholic beverages. The investigation is ongoing.

On 06-17-2018 at 3:27 P.M. Officers responded to the 200-block of NE 8th in regards to a theft of a firearm complaint. It was reported that a possible known suspect took a firearm belonging to the complainant from a vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

On 06-18-2018 at 4:22 A.M. Officers responded to the 1300-block of SW 1st in regards to a burglary. It was reported that an unknown suspect had forced entry into the building and then sprayed graffiti on multiple areas inside the building. The investigation is ongoing.

Paris Police responded to 269 calls for service and arrested seven people over the three-day weekend ending at 6:00 A.M. on June 18, 2018.
