Paris Police Investigate Monday Night Shooting

Paris Police responded to a shooting Monday night at a BBQ cookout in the 1100 block of NE 22^nd and found 34-year-old Jason Behn lying in the street. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was transported to Paris Regional Medical Center, where he is expected to survive his wound. Witnesses identified a suspect who fled the scene after the shooting in a red compact car. The two men had apparently been in an argument before the shooting took place. The investigation continues at this time.
