Paris Police Report For Friday (Dec 28)

Paris Officers answered 95 calls for service, arresting one on a misdemeanor warrant charging littering and failing to appear.

Three separate suicide attempts resulted in three emergency detentions. All three were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Three fraud reports were taken by officers. Stolen debit card information was used in Forney, and a local bank notified the owner of the suspicious charge. The investigation into this case reveals that the suspects may have been caught on video using the stolen information.

Police found a skimmer device at a gas pump in the 2500-block of N. Main. The door appeared pried open, and the security tape had been altered. If any person has purchased gas at Kwik Check in the last few days, please check your statement and card for fraudulent use. The investigation is continuing.
