Paris Police Report for Friday July 28

Paris Police responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of Lamar Ave and made contact with 40-year-old Jeremiah Hibben several blocks away. Hibben was found to have multiple outstanding municipal court warrants and was placed under arrest. He was also found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Officers responded to a reported robbery in the 300 block of SW 25th. The alleged victim said the suspect, who he knew, had taken his wallet and money and as the complainant was trying to recover the property a scuffle ensued. The complainant received minor injuries to his hand during the scuffle. The investigation is ongoing.
