Paris Police Report For Friday (Jun 8)

A business called Paris Police about a skimming device on a gas pump in the 4100-block of Lamar just before 10:00 Thursday morning. They noticed something extra inside a gas pump. The incident is under investigation.

Lauren Rhea Samuel

Officers located Lauren Rhea Samuel, 31, of Paris, at her residence and placed under arrest on an outstanding felony warrant out of Grayson County. It charged her with possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear. Samuel is in Lamar County Jail.

Charles Ryan Crostley | James Harold Loftin, II

Paris Police arrested Charles Ryan Crostley, 37, of Paris, and James Harold Loftin, II, 41, of Lamar County, in the 2100-block of Church St at about 11:30 Thursday night. It was after officers responded to a complaint of a narcotics violation. Police officers search the vehicle belonging to Crostley and located a baggie of methamphetamine, and both were charged with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance of more than one gram but less than four. Both are in Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police was extremely busy by responding to 163 calls for service and arresting seven people Thursday (Jun 7).
