Paris Police Report For Friday (May 18)

Attached are two pictures of fake $100 bills. These are the types of notes which have been circulated in the area lately. These bills are marked on both the front and back “MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY” and are NOT LEGAL. The Police Department is urging citizens to check every transaction to determine the money used is legal tender.

Quarmontre Wallace

Thursday, Paris Police Officers observed Quarmontre Wallace, 22, driving in the 2400-block of Graham. They were aware that Wallace had an outstanding parole violation warrant and arrested him in the 10-block of NW 29th.

Thursday evening before 9:30 officers responded to the 2200-block of N Main in regards to a fraud complaint. Reportedly an unknown suspect had passed a fake $100 bill while making a purchase.

Paris Police responded to 115 calls for service and arrested six people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Friday (May 18)
