Authorities placed Givens Elementary in Paris on lockdown at 1:35 Thursday after shots were fired in an area neighboring the school. Classes shortly afterwards were back on schedule.
Paris police are investigating a sexual assault and have a prime suspect. Officers are finishing the initial investigation and no details are available at this time.
