Paris Police Report For Monday (Apr 23)

Friday afternoon, Paris Police arrested Stacie Robbins, 41, in the 700-block of SE 33rd.  Robbins had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. They found him in possession of identifying information of another person as well as drug paraphernalia.

Ricky Butler

Friday evening officers arrested Ricky Butler, 27, in the 1300-block of Neathery after a traffic stop. They allegedly found Butler had an outstanding felony warrant out of Lamar County for a motion to revoke probation and two misdemeanor warrants out of the Paris Police Department.

Police worked a burglary of a residence in the 1500-block of Van Zandt. Reportedly an unknown suspect had forced entry into the house and took several items, including two televisions. The investigation is ongoing.

A victim reported the Police Department that they had met with an individual on Lamar Ave to sell a firearm posted online. The suspect paid for two guns with counterfeit money and then quickly left the area. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers worked a security check in the 400-block of SW 4th. An unknown male suspect followed the complainant with a sword. The complainant stopped at the complainant location in an attempt to get help and called the police.

 

An unknown person damaged a victim’s car in the 200-block of E. Kaufman while attempting to steal a wheel and tire.

 

Paris Police responded to 229 calls for service and arrested ten people over the three-day weekend ending at 6:00 am Monday (Apr 23).
