Paris Police Report for Monday August 14


Paris Police made contact with 21-year-old Xavier Booker at the Lamar County Courthouse and arrested him on outstanding warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and bond surrender. The aggravated assault charges stemmed from an incident which was reported in July where Booker had allegedly fired shots at three people in the 600 block of Tudor. His bonds were set at a total of $753,000.

The woman who fled from the Lamar County Courthouse after she was found guilty of stealing a Christmas tree from Hobby Lobby has been captured by Hugo Police. Annika Dantreel Dillard, 24, still faces sentencing in Lamar County.

Paris Police arrested 22-year-old Michael Doan in Roxton on a warrant for theft of property valued at $30,000 but less than $150,000 from the 1700 block of NE Loop 286. The theft of two Dodge pickups was reported on July 14.

Paris Police responded to the Lamar County Parole Office and arrested 58-year-old Billy Wallace. He was charged with violating the parole he was on and was transported to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in the 1700 block of Cedar. Someone broke into the residence and stole several appliances including a refrigerator and a washing machine.
