Paris Police Report For Monday (Dec 17)

Paris Police conducted an investigation in the 3700-block of NE Loop 286 Friday evening. They arrested Bobby Carl Roberson, 59, of Blossom. Officers found that Roberson had warrants for his arrest and was in possession of methamphetamine.

Friday afternoon, Paris Police responded to a burglary of a residence at 60 W. Washington. Reportedly, someone had entered the complainant’s apartment and took the victim’s tools. The incident is under investigation.

Saturday morning, a 2002 light brown Buick LeSabre was reported stolen from the 1800-block of NE Loop 286. The victim advised that the vehicle was last seen at about 6:30 pm the previous night.

Paris Police responded to a call of a robbery that occurred in the 1400-block of W. Shiloh Saturday night. The victim reported that a person that she knows stopped and asked her if she needed a ride while she was walking down the road. The victim stated that the suspect then drove her to the 1700-block of W. Shiloh, hit her in the head before taking money from her pants pocket and throwing her out of the vehicle.

Kedon Dequantis White

Kedron Dequantis White, 25, of Paris, was arrested at the Lamar County Probation office on a motion to revoke his probation. White is on probation for a conviction of burglary of a habitation. He was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Monday morning at 12:19, Paris Police met with the victim of a fraud. It was reported that a pizza delivery person had been paid with two fake $20.00 bills upon delivery of a pizza order. The victim advised that he delivered the pizzas to a residence in the 1300-block of W. Kaufman. He gave the person back $12.00 change.

Paris Police responded to 215 calls for service and arrested 12 people over the past 72 hour weekend ending at midnight Sunday (Dec 16).
