Paris Police Report For Monday (Feb 28)

Paris Police arrested Daniel Scott Villegas, 27, of Paris, in the 4300-block of Bonham at 12:19 Friday night on a felony probation violation warrant. Officers place Villegas in the Lamar County Jail.

Kimberly Sueanne Drake

Friday night at 12:49, Paris Police responded to a disturbance in the 400-block of NE 13th. One of the subjects involved, Kimberly Sueanne Drake, 37, had an outstanding felony probation violation warrant. Officers arrested Drake and placed her in the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to a disturbance in the 100-block of SE 21st at 3:15 Sunday morning. The victim reported that they had had a party at the residence, and during the party, two guests had had a physical fight. After the altercation, the victim said that one of the subjects left and returned with a handgun. The suspect then fired a bullet through the door and entered the residence. The suspect then fired a second bullet into the floor and threatened the other person involved in the altercation, and both left the scene before the officers arrived. The incident is under investigation.

Rory Gene White

Rory Gene White, 72, of Paris, was arrested at 7:39 Sunday morning at his residence on a felony warrant charging him with failure to comply with sex offender registration. They placed White in the Lamar County Jail.

Thomas Dewayne Oringderff

Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 200-block of NW 9th St Sunday afternoon at 4:23 for a defective brake light. The officer observed the driver throw an object before it stopped. Officers located the item containing several small baggies of methamphetamine. The driver, Thomas Dewayne Oringderff, 32, of Paris, was arrested and charged with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance of more than four grams but less than 200 and tampering with physical evidence. They transferred Oringderff to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 184 calls for service and arrested 21 people over the weekend ending at midnight on Sunday (Feb 27).
