Paris Police Report For Monday (Jan 24)

Dustin Wayne Mackey | Taylor Nicole Anderson

Detectives with the Paris Police Department located and arrested Dustin Wayne Mackey, 30, of Honey Grove, on a parole violation warrant in the 3500-block of NE Loop 286 at 8:48 Friday morning. Mackey also had an outstanding federal probation violation warrant. Also at that location was Taylor Nicole Anderson, 26. Anderson had possession of methamphetamine, and officers charged her with a controlled substance. They transferred them to the Lamar County Jail.

Bradley Deen Scott

On Friday, Bradley Deen Scott, 38, of Paris, was arrested at the Paris District Parole Office for a parole violation warrant. They transferred Scott to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police met with two theft victims at the Police Department at 12:30 Sunday afternoon. They reported that a known 18-year-old female had obtained their banking information and had transferred funds out of their accounts. The incident is under investigation.

Jeffery Wayne Haley

Paris Police responded to the 200-block of Pine Bluff Sunday afternoon at 1:22 about a fight in progress. Paris Police arrested Jeffery Wayne Haley, 54, of Paris when he reportedly struck a 36-year-old female with a 2X4 piece of wood. Officers transferred Haley to the Lamar County Jail.

Jasmine Denise Carr

Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 1000-block of Lamar Ave Sunday evening at 6:41 for expired registration. During the investigation, the front passenger, Jasmine Denise Carr, 32, of Paris, had possession of more than one gram of methamphetamine. They placed Carr in the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to a burglar alarm at 1:11 on Monday in the 2400-block of Lamar Ave. Officers discovered that someone had broken a window and dropped the store’s merchandise outside. Officer found evidence that two males had broken the window and had entered the store. The two unknown males also took approximately $400 worth of merchandise and fled the store. The incident is under investigation.

Paris Police responded to 210 calls for service and arrested 14 people over the weekend ending at midnight Sunday (Jan 23).
