31 year old Coty Wayne Taylor of Paris was arrested for a felony unauthorized use of vehicle charge.  Officers arrested Taylor after he admitted to finding a vehicle that would start without a key and taking the vehicle to a friend’s home.

24 year old Jamorion Leuntray Wilson of Paris was arrested after officers responded to a disturbance call in the 300 block of Stone Ave.  Wilson provided officers with a fictitious name but one of the officers recognized him from a previous encounter.  He was taken into custody for failure to identify and a warrant for disorderly conduct. As he was being taken to jail, he got out of his seat belt and resisted officers as he was being secured.

Officers responded to a business at 1245 Clarksville after employees found their telephone system not working.  Investigation found that telephone wires servicing the building had been cut.  No other damage was found and no other entry attempted.

A vehicle burglary occurred at a car repair shop in the 100 block of NE 21st.  Employees found a screen off of a front window and vehicles awaiting repair had been damaged and broken into. A video surveillance system recorded the suspect at the scene and investigation continues.

Officers responded to a burglary of a business at 1321 Clarksville in Paris after employees found a broken door glass. Several items were reported missing.
