On 11-17-2016 at 3:06 P.M. Paris Police made contact with David Perry (43 YOA male) in the 1800 block of Bonham due to Perry being wanted on a bond surrender warrant. Perry was placed under arrest for the warrant and was later transported to the Lamar County Jail.
On 11-17-2016 at 12:54 P.M. Paris Police responded to the 2100 block of N Main in regards to a theft of a vehicle complaint. Officers were told that an unknown suspect took a 2003 Kia van from that location. The investigation is ongoing.
On 11-17-2016 Paris Police responded to a fraud complaint in the 1000 block of S Collegiate. Officers were told that an unknown suspect had come to that location on a previous date claiming to be an agent for the Internal Revenue Service. The subject demanded payment for back taxes. It was later learned that the subject was not from the Internal Revenue Service. The investigation is ongoing.
On 11-17-2016 at 3:06 P.M. Paris Police responded to the 1000 block of Bonham in regards to a burglary of a residence. Officers were told that the house had been burglarized and that a shotgun and shop vac had been taken. Officers responded to the residence a second time at 9:00 P.M. and were told that an unknown suspect had forced entry into the residence again and that a television had been taken. Both incidents are under investigation.
