Paris Police Report for Monday Nov. 7th

 

Paris Police were called to  the 1300 block of Fitzhugh Street to investigate a suspicious person complaint and  arrested 42 year old Arvis Head for public intoxication. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance after officers found him in possession of 5 baggies of methamphetamine.

Paris Police responded to the 3000 block of Lamar Ave after getting a report of a reckless driver and learned that the suspect vehicle had pulled into a parking lot in the 3900 block of Lamar Ave. The driver of that vehicle, 24 year old Curtis Brown was arrested for possession of synthetic marijuana.

Paris Police arrested 54 year old Charles Dockins after observing him sell approximately 105 Hydrocodone tablet and finding him in possession of an additional 15 tablets and marijuana. Donckins was charged with two counts of manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Paris Police made contact with 47 year old  Tidd Battle after a traffic stop in the 100 block of Graham and found him in possession of 6 baggies of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana. He was also found to be wanted for violation of his parole. He was arrested and remains in the Lamar County jail.

Paris Police responded to a robbery in the 1300 block of E Hearon in Culbertson Park,  and were told that the victim had been attacked by two black males who assaulted him and took his keys, cell phone, and wallet. One suspect was described as  being light skinned, 6’1” tall, and about 240 lbs and the other dark skinned, 5’10” and 185 lbs.
