Paris Police Report for Monday Sept. 18

 

Paris Police conducted a security check in the 2200 block of Price Street where a woman was passed out in a vehicle with a small child inside. Officers made contact with 26-year-old Tiffany Garcia was in possession of a small amount of synthetic marijuana.  She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and endangering a child.

Paris Police was called to the 3500 block of Lamar Ave and made contact with 40-year-old Rayla McCurry. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant for theft of between $2500-$30k. The warrant stemmed from a theft of a motorcycle that was reported stolen last month. She was also charged on a misdemeanor warrant.

Officers responded to a burglary in the 900 block of Dickson. Officers were told that someone had broken into the residence and taken appliances including window air conditioners, and a washer and dryer. The investigation is ongoing.
