Paris Police Report For Thursday (Apr 12)

Wednesday, Paris Police responded to a report of unauthorized use of a vehicle. It was in the 1700-block of W. Austin. Allegedly Mark Francis, 55, test drove a car and didn’t return. Around 12:30 an officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 1400-block of Bonham. He arrested Francis for unauthorized use.

Police made a traffic stop in the 1400-block of Pine Bluff and arrested Linda Godinez, 22. They found her in possession of Alprazolam (al-PRAZ-o-LAM) pills, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Around 5:30 Wednesday the department received a complaint alleging that a known suspect sexually assaulted a child under the age of 17. The investigation is ongoing.

Paris Police responded to 97 calls for service and arrested five people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Thursday (Apr 12).
