Paris Police Report For Thursday (Aug 17)

After several months of investigation by Paris Police Department Investigators and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms into drug trafficking, officials issued federal warrants for Heath Aubrey, 26, Peggy Mijares, 51, and Teresa Martinez, 26. Officers located and arrested Aubrey in the area of Fitzhugh and Hickory at 5:01 pm as he was walking away from a vehicle. They charged him with two federal warrants, one for conspiracy to possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and the second for felon in possession of a firearm. Officers obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and found 16 grams of crack cocaine and 28 grams of methamphetamine. They also charged Aubrey with manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance. Officers located and arrested Mijares in the 300 block of NE 10th at 7:03 pm. They charged her with conspiracy to possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. Officers located and arrested Martinez in the area of Booker T Washington Homes at 7:53 pm. They charged her with conspiracy to possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance.

Paris Police responded to an assault that allegedly occurred in the 2800 block of Hubbard. A known suspect had assaulted the complainant with a pipe. The victim suffered minor injuries to his head, arm, and shoulder. The suspect fled before police arrived.

Paris Police responded to 104 calls for service and arrested eight people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Thursday (Aug 17).
