Paris Police Report for Thursday August 31

Paris Police arrested 26-year-old Corey Gene Edwards, of Como, after a Paris Police Officer made contact with him on a traffic stop in the 2600 Blk of N Main St. Edwards was found in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Raymond Andrew Parker, 34, of Paris, was stopped in the 3500 Blk of FM 1497 for speeding and arrested after he was found to be intoxicated. During the investigation, it was found that Parker had at least two previous convictions for DWI and this charge was enhanced to a felony.
