On Wednesday, officers received a report of a Motor Vehicle burglary in the 700 block of NW 13th. The victim had left the vehicle unlocked, and someone took a handgun from the back floorboard. The victim had no information on the handgun. The victim is to procure the necessary information and update the department.
Wednesday, officers were notified of an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. In October of this year, a business in the 2900 block of S. Church rented a U-Haul box truck to an individual. The customer has yet to return it, even though the company sent correspondence demanding its return. The vehicle was entered into national databases as stolen, and the case remains open.
An officer received a report of Stalking and Harassment on Wednesday. The victim produced mobile phone records displaying that a known suspect had called her phone an “unreasonable” number of times from a blocked number. The suspect had called over 60 times in the past day and a half, often preventing the victim from being able to use her phone due to the abuse. The victim advised the suspect is an ex-boyfriend who now believes she is starting a relationship with someone else. The suspect had also followed the victim in her vehicle and had swerved toward her as if to ram her vehicle or cause an accident intentionally. The officer turned the incident over to investigations.
For this reporting period, officers made nine traffic stops, arrested three adults, and answered 115 calls for service.

El sospechoso también había seguido a la víctima en su vehículo y se había desviado hacia ella como si fuera a embestir su vehículo o causar un accidente intencionalmente. El oficial entregó el incidente a las investigaciones.
Durante este período de informe, los oficiales realizaron nueve paradas de tráfico, arrestaron a tres adultos y respondieron a 115 llamadas de servicio.
