Paris Police Report For Thursday (Feb 17)

Paris Police responded to criminal mischief in the 1300-block of NE Loop 286 at 8:02 Wednesday morning. The reporting person advised that someone had attempted to break into the ATM and significantly damaged it. The unknown suspects were in a black Ford pickup and used a crowbar to damage the vault. Police found the pickup used in this incident abandoned. The owner had reported it stolen out of Hooks.

Rakeem Montiel Lennos | Raven Somone Jeffers

Paris Police detectives executed a search warrant on a residence in the 800-block of NW 4th Wednesday morning at 9:11. Rakeem Montiel Lennox, and Raven Somone Jeffers, both 29, had over two pounds of marijuana and some pills without prescription. Officers charged them with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana of more than four ounces but less than five pounds, possession of a dangerous drug, and endangering a child due to a toddler being in residence. Lennox had a felony warrant out of Oklahoma. a felony conviction and possession of two firearms. Both are in the Lamar County Jail.

Nathan Dean Combrick

Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 5200-block of FM 195 at 11:52 Wednesday morning for a traffic violation. During the investigation, the front passenger, Nathan Dean Combrick, 47, of Idabel, had possession of methamphetamine. Officers arrested Combrick and charged him with possession of more than one gram of a controlled substance. They transferred him to the Lamar County Jail.

Justin Michael King

Thursday morning at 2:34, Paris Police observed Justin Michael King, 26, of Paris, walking on the Plaza. Due to the time and recent burglaries in the area, the officers attempted to speak with him. King ran from the officers, and they apprehended him in the 200-block of SW 2nd. King had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for his arrest and had possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers charged King with evading arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. Due to a previous conviction for evading arrest, they enhanced King’s charge to a felony. King was placed in the city jail awaiting transfer to the Lamar County Jail. (No photo available at this time)
