Paris Police responded to a theft in the 3800-block of Lamar at 2:29 Wednesday afternoon. After giving the wrong name, officers arrested Herold Milien, 31, of Indiana. He had at least two previous convictions for theft, so they charged him with theft of under $2,500 with two earlier convictions along with failure to identify. Officers booked Milien and transferred him to the Lamar County Jail.
