Paris Police Report For Thursday (Jan 13)

Paris Police, along with officers with the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department, executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1400-block of Fitzhugh Ave. at about 10:17 Wednesday morning. Officers knew that Clinterius Malik Franklin, 24, had an outstanding felony probation warrant for his arrest, took him into custody and found a handgun, ammunition, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Franklin was additionally charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 65 calls for service and arrested two people on Wednesday (Jan 12).
