Wednesday night at 8:35, police worked a robbery in the 3700-block of NE Loop 286. The victim reported that he had messaged a guy that he knows to come over and “smoke.” When the victim opened the door, a male was wearing a ski mask pointing a gun at him, the “invited” “unmasked” guy and approximately five other “masked” people entered. The intruders demanded money and physically assaulted the victim. In addition, they took the victim’s wallet and contents. However, he is reluctant to file charges and only notified police because of concern of the intruders using his Social Security Number.

Paris Police Department responded to 60 calls for service and arrested seven people ending Wednesday night (Jan 19).
