Paris Police Report For Thursday (Jul 6)

Devonte Demond Williams

Wednesday morning at 8:50, Paris Patrol Officer noticed Devonte Demond Williams, 23, of Paris, walking in the roadway despite a provided sidewalk in the 400 block of SE 12th. He knew Williams had an outstanding felony warrant for the April 2023 burglary of Cotton Restaurant. The officer arrested Williams and found him possessing Meth, gaining an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Miranda Alexandra Parks

At 1:16 Wednesday afternoon, a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Bonham ended with the officer noticing a known wanted subject inside. Miranda Alexandra Parks, 26, of Blossom, was taken into custody for an outstanding Felony Forgery Financial Instrument Warrant out of Midland County Sheriff’s Office and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

The Paris Police Department responded to 82 Calls for Service, Arrested eight adults, and made 20 Traffic Stops on Wednesday (Jul 5).
