Paris Police was called to a disturbance in the 100 block of Brown Ave after known suspects had allegedly fired shots at the complainant in the 1200 block of NW 7th. No damages or injuries were reported. Further investigation turned up that the vehicle driven by one party in the disturbance had been stolen in Red River County. The driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Kedron White, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle. The shots fired complaint and the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle is not believed to be related.
Paris Police responded to the 400 block of SW 1st in regards to a fraud complaint. A known person had passed a stolen check at that location. No arrest has been made and the investigation is continuing.
Officers made contact with 35-year-old Jeremy Dancer in the 600 block of Price Street in Paris. He was allegedly in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and was arrested. Dancer was also charged with a misdemeanor.
Paris Police responded to the 500 block of NW 28th in regards to the burglary of a residence. Someone had taken two televisions and a microwave from the home.
