Paris Police Report For Thursday (Jun 14)

Wednesday, Paris Police arrested Alyssa Penny, 21, on an outstanding warrant for credit card abuse. Officers responded to the warrant arrest complaint in the 3700-block of Lamar just before 11:00 pm.

Police worked a disturbance in the 1400-block of E. Washington and arrested Dale Smith, 48, on an outstanding parole violation warrant.

A victim reported a burglary of his home in the 1000-block of SE 28th. An unknown suspect had forced entry into the house and took two bicycles.

Officers worked a criminal mischief complaint that reportedly occurred in the 1200-block of NE 22nd. A possible known suspect had intentionally scratched several of the body panels of the complainant’s vehicle.

A person informed the Paris Police Department that an adult male had allegedly improperly touched a child under the age of 17. The investigation is ongoing.

Paris Police responded to 99 calls for service and arrested 11 people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Thursday (Jun 14).
