Paris Police Report For Thursday (Jun 17)

Austin Lee Loyd

Paris Police located Austin Lee Loyd, 29, of Paris, in the 1300-block of Clarksville Wednesday night. Loyd had outstanding warrants for his arrest. During the arrest, Loyd had possession of methamphetamine, and officers additionally charged him with possession of a controlled substance of less than one gram. Loyd was placed in the city jail awaiting transfer to the Lamar County Jail.

Chyenne Lee Gillespie

Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 2000-block of Lamar Ave Wednesday night at 10:20 for a defective headlight. During the stop and investigation, two passengers had outstanding Municipal Court warrants and arrested. The front passenger had possession of methamphetamine. Officers arrested Chyenne Lee Gillespie, 25, of Paris, and charged her with a controlled substance of less than one gram. They transferred Gillespie to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 82 calls for service and arrested five people on Wednesday (Jun 16).
