Paris Police Report For Thursday (Mar 9)

Wednesday night at 9:59, an officer made a traffic stop on a Dodge Grand Caravan for a defective brake light in the 1900 block of North Main. The driver advised the officer that drug paraphernalia was inside the vehicle. Shawn Lyn Parker, 47, of Lamar County, was arrested, and they located a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine in his jeans pocket. Parker was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG-1 <1g, a State Jail Felony.
