Paris Police Report for Tuesday 9/13

Paris Police were investigating  an unrelated call and made contact with 26 year old Domienek Reed  in the 500 block of W Parr. He  was arrested on an outstanding parole violation warrant and another felony warrant for assault family violence with previous convictions.

Paris Police  are investigating a burglary that occurred in the 700 block of Field Road. An unknown suspect had forced entry into a building and taken a riding lawnmower.

Paris Police were dispatched to a shots fired complaint in the 600 block of SW 6th. Officers were told that about 5 gunshots were heard. No evidence was found indicating that shots had been fired but the investigation is continuing.  

Paris Police officers responded to a robbery report in the 800 block of NW 14th and were told that a woman had come to the victim’s  residence and pushed the victim out of a chair and taken her phone. The suspect left the area before police arrived. The alleged victim was not injured.

Paris Police responded to an aggravated assault complaint in the 300 block of NE 3rd and learned that a man had cut another man after an argument. The man had received a laceration to his throat and a woman at the scene received a laceration to the chest. No suspect information was provided by either victim.

Paris Police are investigating a residential burglary in the 3200 block of Clarksville Street. The thief or thieves stole a model car collection and a portable air tank.

Paris Police responded to a report of a man with a gun in the 3800 block of Lamar Ave. Officers were told that as the victim pulled onto the parking lot a tan Mercury Marquis pulled up next to the victim. The victim told officers that the driver of the vehicle had pointed a handgun at him and then left the scene.

Paris Police are also investigating a burglary in the 2600 block of SW Loop 286. Officers were told that someone had forced entry into the building and taken an iPad and miscellaneous files.

Paris Police responded to the 2300 block of Ballard Drive and learned that a man was chasing another man and a woman with a pole. The male victim was also hit with the pole. Neither victim was seriously injured.
